- August 11th, 1995 New York Times crossword clue for SPIRAL STAIRCASE
I wanted the name of my company to invoke the same feeling you get when you read the first clue to a mystery that needs to be solved,
Because that is what I strive to do; help you get to the answer.
The name came to me when I looked to the creative minds and characters that influenced my love for mysteries and problem-solving over the years. Inspiration came from a puzzle I try to solve every day; the New York Times Crossword. One particular entry stood out to me.
The phrase "it turns into a different story" really hit the nail on the head for what I was looking to accomplish with this company. Data analytics has the effect of changing your point of view and allowing for new decisions to come to light.
Your next question is probably, "Why escalator then?". Without the backstory, "Spiral Staircase" is just a common phrase to most people. I replaced staircase with escalator for 2 reasons; the first because I wanted to emphasize my expertise in technology. I strive to learn as much as I can about the technical resources that are available so I can use them to make my business more effective. The second reason is because it's silly and thought-provoking. Creativity and wonder are such important parts of who I am and what I bring to the table.
